I hurt my ankle and stretched my ligament while I was playing basketball with my friends cause I landed weird. Is it possible that I could just treat it with acupuncture?

No. But you could, maybe, make it better by just staying off it. That, or see a physical trainer… depending on how bad (some times they are worse than you think) they require surgery.

Acupuncture only touches nerves, making you numb in places if done right. Great for releasing pain, not so well for actually healing the wound unless you just want to stay off it and be in less pain.

EDIT - You added DIET to your treatment - of course that helped your heart burn. You can make it feel better, but other causes are making the actual ligament healing and being pulled back tight. Or show me the science i obviously am missing for acupuncture. I will not claim to be a master of it, or i would be doing it wouldnt i…

Yes you can! Dale doesn’t know what he’s talking about. You can definitely help your ligament with acupuncture. I used acupuncture to help with arthritis in my back, my sciatica, my morning sickness with my pregnancies, and my heartburn. You’d be amazed what you can treat with acupuncture and diet. I say go!! Make sure you go to someone that is certified with the state you live in.
