I am looking into becoming a Life Coach and have had my own experinces with good nad bad Life Coaching. I also have had my experience as an Art Therpist which I want to blend with my own style of Life Coaching. But, I am wondering what others think of Life Coaching and if they have had ANY (good or bad) experinces with Life Coaching.

I suffer occasionally from depression, issues with self confidence, lack of direction etc etc. Should I therefore see a counsellor to help me sort my head out or a life coach to help me sort my life out? Any advice would be appreciated!

I am also getting into Life Coaching in New York State. I have heard of several different requirements for this. Unfortunately I am unable to find ANYTHING out from NYS about Licsencing or Degrees or Certification. Does anyone know what is required?
